"Privacy" and "security" are terms that have been traditionally
complicated for us to use and convey sometimes misleading political and
technical meanings. In "The Moral Work of Cryptographic Work", the
author suggest using "anti-surveillance" which is more pragmatic and
less connoted, despite the fact that it's negative: "anti" and not "pro".

Will discussing https://mailman.boum.org/pipermail/tails-project/2016-May/000513.html we came to the conclusion that the way we present Tails should also make it less scary to try to install it.

There are bad things in the world. Not everything has to be pro. IMHO, anti-surveillance has a better ring to it, and sounds more empowering than something like pro-privacy. It feels like it gives a stronger sense of almost tangible protection.
